LAUGHTER: A SERIOUS MEDICINE

The New England Journal of Medicine reports that negative thoughts increase blood pressure, activate stress hormones, weaken immune systems, making it easier for us to fall sick. Norman Cousins asks in his book, Anatomy of an Illness, “If negative emotions produce negative chemical changes in the body, wouldn’t positive emotions produce positive chemical changes?” Is it possible that laughter, confidence and the will to live have therapeutic value? This seminar answers that question.

OVERCOMING ADVERSITY – WITH A “LITTLE” ADJUSTMENT

On June 17, 1972 Greg Little’s life changed forever.  Following a horrific automobile accident, he survived an eight-day coma, brain surgery, weeks of paralysis and had to relearn how to walk and talk. He now teaches groups how they are limited only by their own ability to adapt.  This program currently available in keynote and breakout formats only.
